Formerly known as SJMC Academy of Nursing & Health Sciences, Sime Darby Nursing and Health Sciences College was established in 1995 and is one of the pioneers in nursing education in Malaysia, with a good track record of success in exam pass rates for more than a decade.
Sime Darby College students will be trained primarily at the award-winning Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya (formerly known as Subang Jaya Medical Centre or SJMC), and Sime Darby Specialist Centre Megah (formerly known as Megah Medical Specialists Group). Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya is a 393-bed tertiary care hospital located in the Klang Valley and is at the forefront of cutting-edge medical technology in the region. Its services range from complex transplants to minimally invasive surgeries. The training provided is geared to afford students the best possible exposure to the latest in medical technology.
Sime Darby College is a member of the Sime Darby Group - a multinational conglomerate with businesses in key sectors in over 20 countries.
Sime Darby Nursing and Health Sciences College is registered as a Higher Education Provider with the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. All programmes are approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency. The Nursing Programmes are registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
